Terrified of unity, the gods shattered her.
From her ruin came the Fragments, vast and indestructible, buried deep beneath the earth where they wait in silence. From her Shards came the races of the world. From her Sparks came the fire that burns inside every mortal soul.
Alaenor is not a world built upon matter, but upon feeling.
Dwarves carved order from stone beside the Hearth of the World.
Elves guard their fading beauty and immortality beneath the full moon.
Orks carry a grief so vast it can only breathe as fury.
